And yeah, I do have a nice setup for my Q9550, not quite 20k PPD though, more like 16.5 - 17.5k.

I did talk with zodac about it recently and he said it was allowed only because that's what cat2 (now wildcard) was originally made for.
Tanks man, and yeah its still on like Donkey Kong my friend. But that's just it tho, those older rules were designed for cat2 then right? That slot is gone, and it's known as wildcard now. So to me it doesn't seem fair to just "grandfather" a TC member's hardware in just because that's what the old cat2 slot was designed for...imo at least. And I was looking at this...
...when I made the nearly 20,000 PPD statement, but your right, its more like 17.5k (opps, must have fudged my math up
), which is still higher than 16k PPD. Sorry man, I didn't know that you and zodac had pre arranged something, my apologies.

Hopefully I put the CPU block back together, and put the right amount of thermal paste on for once. Seems like it's always too much or too little paste, I can never get that bow-looking print when I pull the block and CPU apart
but hey, I guess we'll see how the temps are tomorrow morning!
Sounds like fun man, I'm jealous!!! Thankfully all is going well tho _zero, I prey to the folding gods all will be well for you in the morning and you can start crunching again, best wishes. I'm sure you will get the paste application down eventually, it's definitely an art, I'm always second guessing myself that's for sure.
