Yep, that's what they meant.
As for me, It's showing that my package should be here tomorrow. A full WEEK after I ordered it! Did I mention I used 2 day shipping?

My only goal is to not drop to Div2! If we can stay in Div1 for the month, I'd be happy with that. And even if we drop to Div2, we can just go down there and dominate for a month in January, then come back to Div1. Either way, I'm really not worried. I know we have a good team right now, so I have no concerns.
I'll jump over and toss my vote for you, but it will cost you 50k extra points in the TC this month! thumb.gif No, really, I'm eager to see your build completed, I think it will be really cool (at least I think it was your build log I'm thinking of... confused.gif).
Yeah, last place sucks, but we'll get back in the running as the month goes on. Also, and I feel kinda dumb for having to ask, but what did you mean by 2.7kk and 3.77kk? 2700k vs 3770k? Sorry, I'm just feeling slow today. rolleyes.gif

Hmmm - i'd be happy to temp with something (if you see it in my sig rig...) if it'd help - nothing > something (I currently fold nearly 24/7 smp -6 on my i7).

yes, i was just being goofy with decimal places and multipliers.

This is true! I'll check with BWG when it gets close and I have some idea of what I'm going to be doing, but yeah, if you can temp for me for about a week or so, that would be AWESOME! Thanks, sir!!

As for the 2.7kk & 3.77kk, that's what I thought you meant, but I'm easily confused sometimes when I'm at work! rolleyes.gif

Also, in regards to what we were saying earlier about being in last place, I PMed back and forth with Iron and he is going to try to set up v7 tonight with the core hack (if you can call it that), which should help him post quite a bit more PPD, so that should help us move up the chain a little further! biggrin.gif

EDIT:

OK, first off, sorry for bragging, but I have to get this out...My current 3 GPUs (2x GTX460 and GTX570) are LOVING these beta WUs!! I just can't wait to get my other two GPUs (2x Watercooled GTX470s, thank you Chuck!) installed, then my PPD should be AWESOME!

Also, the fact that I should break 45 million points by the end of the year is making me wheee.gif!!

No problem - lets get it set up, just gotta run it by the team captain... There's another bloomfield in cat3, so it looks acceptable - guess we need a ruling and I need to stop folding on my 8800 ultra ( unless it gives better PPD - i doubt it).

IDK what the rules are (too lazy to keep up on them with my stagnant category), but whatever a 3.8 gigglehurtz 940 will get you is yours.

Right on, well, my down time most likely won't be until the middle/end of the month (so you can keep folding away until then), but I'll give you a few days heads up before it happens. I'll go ahead and check with BWG and make sure it is cool and I'll get back to you. Thanks for volunteering!! thumb.gif

EDIT:

Just because I know BWG is going to ask, what kind of PPD is your i7 putting down?

EDIT 2:

On a personal note, this warm crap here in Cincy is KILLING ME! My basement was almost 80F last night when I got home and I've had to start shutting everything (besides my TC Rig) down to try to cool it off! It's December from goodness sakes, the time of year I should be able to run everything full go and still be cool in my basement, but no, not in Cincy! Fricken weather! I was hopting to top 45 mil by years end, but now that my PPD is down to about 30k PPD, that is not going to happen!! sozo.gif Worst part, it is supposed to stay between 50F and 65F for the next 7 days!! DANGIT!! It's supposed to be freezing and snowing this time of year, not T-shirts and shorts!!!!

Well on SMP -6 I'm getting 10-16k PPD. Idk what it gets at smp -8 because I've been running other GPGPU stuff on it and need the wiggle room - that can stop for a bit though, and if you really wanna know I can switch it back tonight and get you numbers on the next WU.

80F is a problem? isn't that the top of the inlet temp window? you'll be fine...

Thanks for the info, if you could get me numbers on SMP -8 too, that would be awesome (just let it run 10 frames or so and you should be able to see the PPD difference).

As for the temps, 80F was my ambient temp in my basement when I got home yesterday. My wife and I usually keep it around 70F (which is where we are both comfortable), so when I was doing homework last night I was sitting at my desk sweating! My body is just not made for that kind of heat!! I have all the windows in the basement open (of which there are 3), and they have been open for months, but since it is not much cooler outside, it really didn't help much.

With my ambient temps at 80F, my 2700k CPU temps were right at 80C, my 3570k temps were at 86C and my two 460 temps were at 73C and 75C. All of these numbers are quite a bit higher than I like to (and normally) see.

27C inlet temps yield 80C core temps - yikes. my water sits at 30C (then again my basement it a tad colder than yours), and yet again I'm sure I have way, way less OC.

I remoted in and hit finish - once it's done with current WU's I'll re-configure it.

Yeah, my 2700k is running at 5.0GHz @ 1.52v, so it gets a little hot. Also, I don't think my water block is seated properly as my water never gets over 26C (it was 25.8C last night). When I do the big teardown / rebuild later this month, I'm going to reseat it and hope to get better temps.
