Thanks, and yeah, it is a great chip, I would just love to know what it would do in a decent MB that would let me OC it more than 4.7GHz. Right now the temps hover at 55C and the voltage is only at 1.43v, so it still has some headroom, but the crappy MB it is on won't push anymore than 1.43v consistantly.
I've had plans of putting it in another MB, I even have a spare Sabertooth board laying around, but I haven't wanted to take the down time (or any of my little free time) to move it and get the OC solid. I've said, if I get anything lower than 5th in the CPU WC cat, I'll move it to the other MB, but as long as it keeps winning (or finishing 2nd), I just can't justify the time.
As for repo's mishap, which I'm sure was not something he did on purpose, if Kevdog want's to bring it up to Anubis, he can. I'm not worried about it, just wanted to point out that our team would be about 150k closer to 3rd if not for that. I don't really want to see repo penalized, folding is folding, it all helps the cause. I'm sure it was an accident, and he has corrected it, so really no harm, no foul. He was contributing to the cause, that is the bigger picture.
If he hadn't corrected it, or if it was something we saw happen month after month, sure, I would push it up the ladder, to keep the competition in check (if we didn't have these rules, we wouldn't have a contest, no contest, less folding, less folding, less work for the cause, less work for the cause, the longer it takes to find cures, and everyone looses), but for a one time mistake, I don't see the need to worry about it...unless our team is only 150k out of first at the end of the month...
