Is this one any different? I think its alluminum, and its 3dollars cheaper, is it better?

Um...
One is copper, and one is aluminum (look at the product discriptions).
And yes, that chipset heatsink will work on that chipset. The copper one is great, I had it on an old P4 board. It was the quietest fan I have ever heard actually (it made almost no noise AT ALL).

there are better coolers out there for your NF4 chipset.
this is a really good passive cooler that I have on the chipset on my Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe board
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118214

and this is what I ordered for my DFI Expert chipset

Why doesnt it say in the description that you can use it for the chipset, it only says vga.
I took some pics with my phone, and since I was taking pictures I took picture of my whole pc.

Also is it going to cool any better? Because the stock one gets really hot, and I thing that its stopping me from getting my fsb higher than 289.

I think a passive cooler wont be enough since it gets so hot now, and the other one I was looking at too, but this one has better reviews and they give you 2 extra hetsinks

you can use them for the chipset. the evercool one is very popular on dfi-street as you can use it on your nf4 chipset w/o modding it at all. often you will have to mod the iceburg ones to get them to fit. The evercool cooler is supposed to be quieter and better than the stock dfi chipset cooler. the zalman works well and is silent (no fan) I have a 40mm fan attached to the one on my Asus board adn it cools better and it quieter than the stock Asus fan. the only downside is that you can't use nv silencers or anything like that as it is too tall

I'm not sure if you'll have to mod it or not. I'm not familar w/ your board. most people if they have to mod the new cooler just have to take a dremel and grind down on a side or make a little 'U' in the side so it fits around a cap or something like that on the mobo

Damn, the zalman is only 5 bucks now. I paid 10 when I put it on my old asus board. But now i have a dfi and Its too tall to put it on. Unless i decide to bend it apart so it fits around my gfx card. That might be a summer project. Anyone know a way to get those little clips that hold the chipset cooler down with out cutting them? I still havent been able to do it w/o cutting them off and putting new ones in.
