You're going to put a $400 monitor in the bin because you're too lazy to RMA it? Wowww.

I've been using this monitor for almost a month now, by far the best 120hz lcd that I have used. The picture quality out of box isn't the best, but tweak the settings and its great.

No because the first one I got was a DOA. The second was many many faults as well. Why should the third one be any different for me?

And as for the new firmware fixing the backlight bleed issue... it has gotten worse in the couple of last days for me and my monitor already had the new firmware when arriving from the factory.

You don't need a 120hz monitor but it looks nice anyway.

Sounds like a mail man problem.

If you want to get one of the good monitors, you need to RMA it.

As far as 120hz go, no, you only need to hook it up to one port (either one will do) on your video card and it won't make your performance suffer at all.
hmm, then why on some of the acers they were explaining that you need to hook both up to the back of the graphics card, and that took a performance hit.

Unfortunately, I've seen, heard, and read nothing but quite bad reviews.

Here's a video of someone who got a brand new one:

Here's a video of someone showing his. If you look at the bottom of his screen whenever the screen goes black, the bleed is almost unbearable: Now I don't know if that's just because he's changing something but I'd rather not take my chances personally.

Just trying to help in case anyone is thinking about buying one and might be worried about that. If not, it looks great

The only problem is the frankly awful quality control at BenQ these days. All my complaints have been forwarded to them for a comment, so far I've got nothing.

Mine has a little bleed on the bottom but it's not major like the one in the second video. I can hardly notice it on mine. The backbleed in the second video might be caused by the camera and might not look like that in real life.

The first one looks messed up.

just an update...going on over a month of owning it now and everything is still great. Very very minimal backlight bleed and gaming is really nice. I mostly use it for css and the 'FPS' mode is perfect, definitely designed for this game.

Finally got mine in today. Frys will not get my business again...

My monitor has very noticeable bleeding across the entire bottom of the screen. Is there anyway to correct it?
