instead of the 6800gs i would go for the 7600gt evga

there is one for like 170 after mail in on newegg and spend 50 more dollars to get the 3700

so if you get the 7600gt

200 for 6800gs
-170 price of 7600gt
= +30$
-60 upgrade to 3700
= you have to spend 30 more for these upgrades

btw, i love that case

ok thanks guy I might get those upgrades and maybe a san diego, is the PSU any good because i've heard it is but i'm not sure
post #5 of 6
scrap that psu and get a sunbeam nuuo 550w. it's more powerful and cheaper. it'll run you about $85 shipped.

also, there have been some good suggestions for the gfx card...do a bit more research before your purchase.

I would also say get the 3700+sd over the 3200. I stepped up from a 3200 venice to my opty 148 (which is basically a 3700+) and noticed a dramitic difference.

for RAM you'll want to get some g.skill for that board. this will go nicely

it's a bit more expensive, but at 2gb you can't go wrong.

for the price you are willing to pay for the psu, i am certain you can get a better one (increased 12v rails) i shall have a look for you now

edit: this seems to be a nice psu with some nice dual 12v rails
