Hey Slammers,
Just letting you know starting this Thursday I'll be on vacation for two weeks so might not be as on as I'd like. The PC should keep on folding through this time, I'll be monitoring it over logmein in case anything bad happens.

On a side note, I finished setting up a CentOS server using an old HP laptop I had, and it's running pretty smooth Thinking about making us a website, after someone helps me with setting up bigbigadv in a VM

URL for that is: http://devserver1.dyndns.org
Set the inbound iptables policies to reject all requests except for port 80 and a couple other ones I use for SSH etc., but if you see any blatant security holes let me know so I can plug it up.

Hope everything's all right with you,
crazyap7

I'd help if I knew stuff about that; for now I can get an actual domain for us; slammers.info sounds good?

Try to get TeamViewer instead; I've seen lots of problems with LogMeIn crashing the GPU clients

Thinking about making us a website, after someone helps me with setting up bigbigadv in a VM
Have fun on the vacation! I hope it is someplace warm!

I can sure try and help you get your VM set up, but I'm the furthest thing from a "linux guy" as you'll find.

If you've got questions about the guides, I can try and help you get it sorted out. My bigbig setup is not as streamlined as some - I still have to apply the corehack every setup, but it works!

It's just the test page from Apache I had time to set it up, haven't scp'ed all my sites into it yet The site I'm finishing up is on it though: http://devserver1.dyndns.org/TriStateArchitect/

I'll let you know if we need help, but I think the main problem will be trying to hook in the stats into the site. Considering using AJAX, unless there's an easier way to maybe grab the data from the website running the auto-stats and then arranging the data how I want it.

It's in France, so not exactly toasty, but it's where all my family lives so we go every year
Once I get back I'll make sure to look at the guides and PM you We will get this running

What kindof points are we seeing with big big? Is it worth switching from 2 gtx 580s to 2x i7 to complement the 3 I already have?

110%

2x 580's = 40k ppd

2x i7's = 160k ppd

Edit: Not to mention less power consumption, so the PPD/watt ratio is greatly increased.
