You are telling me lol. I don't have enough money right now to get any new parts. I think it is just the boot sequence in this HDD. I might be able to use my old laptop HDD as my boot to just fold with. That is what I am going to test.

To fold, you could technically just boot off of a usb running Ubuntu/linux distribution!

I only have one USB drive and it holds my bootable Windows 7 and also all of my needed programs.

I just need to convince my girlfriend to let me spend money to get my rigs up and running the way they need to be not just put together with parts that I have around the house.

Haha, yes priorities.

Well best of luck with that (use chocolates).

haha she is allergic to chocolate so that doesn't work. I will just take her out baby shopping. That usually puts her in a good mood.

The moment I posted that I had a feeling you would say she was allergic.

You know what to do, she's yours!

It's been a while, I'm still alive and doing a lot better then i was back in September. I got a new job with Sanofi Aventis, Started graduate school in January, I got the motherboard on the Kanabo fixed and mostly back online need to sort out the MBR and how to connect one of the drives, and in about a month or two i should be getting a new apartment that has everything included, that includes electric.

What happened was at my old job my manager came down on me hard because she is never around she can base her facts as to how things are done on rumors. I got a lot of blame pinned on me for things i did not do. So i double timed it and worked my hardest to prove them wrong but at the same time apply for other positions. I got the one i wanted back at the company i wanted to work at again. When it came time to give my two weeks notice for Christmas it was quite sweet and from what my friends that still work their have told me the lab went to **** in my absence since that employee no longer had me to do the work and take the blame.

Evening folding friends.

Im in need of your help if you are familiar with ubuntu/linux. Ive made a thread here - http://www.overclock.net/t/1375856/fah-smp-folding-bsod-on-linux

Basically I keep getting black screen of death on it, not sure if thats the correct term. Its a wall of white text with black background whist folding.
