Actually I have an idea, how about a team build for the watercooling setup for my folding rig. Ive never done liquid cooling before only air. I have an xspc rasa water cooled kit rs240 I think that was going to be used with a project pc to practice wc on some obsolete parts with a friend of mine. So after I do that any parts from the kit are available or can be sold to obtain others. I can do pictures and dimensions of the case and figure a budget, we can then all make a suggested build and pick and choose from there. Off the top of my head its a cosmos s with the top cut out to fit a 360mm in push pull ontop and I think there is room for a 240mm in front of the case. What do you guys think of it as a team building exercise? (quite literally). It would help me out since I have no idea what parts are good.

I like it. I have no idea either. Only know what I have read here.

Ok, after getting paid this week, ill say a budget of around $500 +or-100 for this wc setup. The light on the top of tge case for power glows red. My mouse and keyboard are black w/ green lighting. No fesar aqua cool or dyes or crap either id rather do colored tubing and distilled water Right now there are two noctua pf 12's and two gentle typhoon ap 15's and no fan controller, they are all hooked into the board. Ill get some measurements tonight and put up pictures but start thinking of ideas for parts to set it up, pump, res, waterblock, radiator brand.

I'll weigh in on my past loops. I had 1 custom loop and one EK kit. Quite honestly, the EK kit held it's own with a rad upgrade. I had 2 MCW80's and a CPU block. Temps never went above 40C on the GPU's or 50C on the X4 @ 4.4 while folding. GPU's were clocked over 1GHz too.

Whatever you pick out, it should work great even if you don't get the best.

Right does not need to be the best parts, just what works best together as a whole.

YGPM. I added a brand new passkey to the GTX 760 slot and there should be more than enough time to crunch the 10 WU's needed to start getting the betas again.

So far the new (replacement) i7 is humming along happily @ 4.0 GHz and the 760 is crunching away at it's default boost clocks. I'm out of town this weekend but hopefully I can find time to push the OC envelope on my new hardware within the next week or so to really maximize PPD before TC officially restarts.

What's our current lineup looking like? Don't we need to recruit a few more?

Well I am off work for the next 3 weeks. My son was born on Sunday. Looks like I can use this time to spend time with my son and get my folding rig up and running right. The month of August has been good to me and my family. Now I just need to win the ultimate rig contest!
