I seem to remember having lower clock speed in Linux when compared to Windows. I know my 980Strix would fold at 1520 in windows but 1480atm in Linux (crashed at 1490 frown.gif )

What are you clocked at on your TC card?

1580Mhz, It can fold at 1600+Mhz but every now and again, a 0x18 will cause it to crash...no warnings redface.gif , if this happens while I am at work, it will mean no points for 12+hrs. For TC, 1580 has been more than enough for me, but that may change soon.

Don't think I can even get close to 1580.
My experience is that stable clocks in Linux will be a step (13mhz) or two lower compared to windows.
Linux utilizes the GPUs more (higher PPD at same clocks) so logically the max clock before FAH or benchmark errors would be lower in Linux.

smile.gif I did get lucky with this card. My TC 980 MSI 4g Gaming beats my 980 strix and 980 classified.

Yeah, just thought of that right when I posted. tongue.gif My brain did stupey right then.

Ok, that know leaves finding a i7 folder or I get bored at get a AMD card to play around with again for folding. tongue.gif

@superericla is doing very well in i7 cat. But he may not want to give up his slot in AMD.
