Yep, though the book sure has some stuff I did not know. Reason I actually reading through it before I take the test.

Avionics, yeah, I know they suppose to have a good stack of CDCs. I remember chatting with a avionics guy while helping him out in a KC-10.

Although I think it's only 6 volumes... those are a tall stack. Even then they vary between 2A0X1M and 2A0X1K shreds.

And here I was the stupid one and the AF had offered me a position in which they would send me to Cambridge, UK (already stationed here) and study SEC+... they would pay the cost without a dime out of my pocket; I was stupid. Oh well things happen...

I've looked at an example of the Security+ test. I'd need at least a few months worth of classes and dedicated studying for hours on end every night to be able to get a passing score. Or a failing score above the equivalent of 50%.

Not sure how the tech school teaches Security+, but most in the unit do pass on first try, though there are some who have try a 2nd time to pass. Hopefully when I go. I can pass on my first go at the test.

I would take a pic of the 5 level CDCs when I was jet troop, but it was first thing I burned after getting out of active duty and cross training into Computer Ops. tongue.gif

The fact I pass my jet troop CDC test on first go considering I had the books done in three months, and then they made me wait three months before I could test. I think when I get around to doing my 5 level for computer ops should be pretty easy. Only stupid reason they made me wait was the fact they want you to do one book per month then test, so they where afraid I would fail since I went so fast through them. rolleyes.gif Blah, they where short compared to when I finish The Stand unCut in one week. tongue.gif Now that is a big book. Only wish I could write like I could read. Was funny when I took a pre placement test for a community college. Miss only two questions on reading comprehension, but grammer...well, I not going to say anything (I would actually would had to take two pre classes before being allowed to take college level English). redface.gif

Our shop right now, and always has been since I've been here, has the policy of only 1 book per month; might actually be a squadron policy. Anyways, as for grammar... well that's a different beast. I'm actually wanting to be an instrumental music teacher but if I don't get that then English or Algebra/Trig will be my next choice - I love grammar and composition. This may actually be why I don't like writing EPRs because they have ZERO grammatical sense...

Rofl, so dang true about EPRs. The thing though about grammer test with me, all the sentences make since to me. So, I find it hard to figure out which is suppose to be the correct way. But even I know EPRs have wacky grammer or what ever that mess is.

Wish I had that one English teacher again, she actually taught us how to use a grid layout for sentences. Everyone else hated it since that method made no sense to them, but for me it was the only way I could understand. Only year of school too where I had above a 90 average for English, the rest of the time I barely could keep in the 80 average range because of those grammer tests. Reading and spelling tests though I could blow out of the water. Had a bad habit though of only studying for my spelling test on the bus that day of the test, had a slight photography memory. So my lazy butt wait till then. tongue.gif

Actually, that the reason most tests in school bore the life out of me. Most teachers gave the dang same question and answer on test that they gave us in homework. So of course I just be a lazy butt about studying for the tests. rolleyes.gif

A fellow guardsman, eh? And they gave them a month?? We only had 10 days before we took the test! Granted, most of us passed, but it was a tough one.
