Also, crap this humidity. I going to get a dehumidifier for my parents place. I'm going to go nuts if the humidity keeps going over 65%.

I do believe it's a bit higher but not much, in all honesty I would say power draw almost goes out the window once you break past 4 GPUs in a system unless you're running dinosaur GPUs. Right now I'm at 850W on just 4 980s so we're looking at roughly 1700W with 8 of them running at once. I guess that would explain why the system comes with 2 1600W PSUs (with a redundant 1600W).

Well if I go all 980s, I guess I won't ever hit 1st in GPU-E. Oh well, I'll settle for 4th in that area but when it comes to overall PPD - I'll take my chances at ~6.4M. thumb.gif

Still only 850W for four is quite nice.

I have no doubt when I get around to OC my Titans those crazy thing going to eat up some watts. tongue.gif Then again those don't fold all the time.

Bout to say, the old style Titans would probably eat up watts like you said. For me, I fold 24/7 on all GPUs, which I'm running probably at or just over 1kW total between the two computers that fold with 6x 980s. Right now I can only imagine what 16 x 980s, assuming I go that route, will do. Although I will say that I am looking forward to making a rackmount and hopefully being able to run Windows 7 on my main and secondary rigs so that playing various games won't be such a big problem anymore. Not that I don't like playing games in Linux, but sometimes the lag is a bit bad when using Wine... this especially applies to OSU! - which I haven't played in a while; I'll also be able to bring documents home if need be since everything at work is Windows based and it just makes things easier. The servers though... those will be nothing but Linux... may consider a dual boot on my main and secondary rigs just because I like having Linux around.

Wierd, my 970 has no problem doing 8018's @ 1531.... it just goes a tiny bit higher in temperature though. I don't remember what my stock boost it though.

It's a brand new card, and I'm sure it can handle higher clocks, but I still need to figure out what is core 17 stable, and what is core 15 stable at max possible clocks.

Well, the 1090T folding on Black Dragon @ stock clocks atm. HFM.net showing a 9.5k PPD out of it.

On good news, Black Dragon will be getting a different motherboard to switch out to. A nice ASUS Sabertooth 990FX board that is. biggrin.gif
Just have to wait for the board to show up now.

Since it got four slots for GPUs, that should allow me down the road to expand its folding potential.

1475MHz on the core now. Probably going to bump to 1496MHz before I leave for dinner with family tonight. Grandma, aunt, uncle and my other aunt (the one that I like that visited with my cousin) are in town.

Neither tongue.gif Should wait for the inevitable vram gimped version of the GM200. It's pretty much a given at this point. High quality non ref. ones will most likely come within 50K(assuming they reduce the core count.) of the Titan X for prob $200-300 less.

If 3072 cores, they are gonna break 700K easily
