Submitting a bigadv in about 3 hours. Sweet.

Sell me your 920 if you do.
I would have to sell my MB and CPU and check prices on what it will actually cost, There is a few animators in town that might want to get their hands on it also. So sad though, this i7 has been a champ with nice voltage for me.

And yes, the $500 BMW is very much not running, lol. But, that's alright, as I would be buying it to turn into a racing vehicle, which means the engine and transmission were going to be rebuilt anyways.
As long as when you race, you wear this hat.

Its not the money thats the problem lol, its the fact that my parents arent going to want me to get a new one lol. Theyll use the excuse, "you just bought a 500 card 6 months ago, u are done dumping money into this computer non-sense". And i quote from expierience (gtx295 days).

They're quite right actually. Wish I had such responsible parents.

How does me racing an 80s 633 relate to Back to the Future, other than there being a 633 in like...the second one. I don't think they raced it, lol.

'Sides, I couldn't wear the hat because I have to wear a helmet. Though, that is a sweet hat...

Also, when this unit goes in, I'm going to completely redo the client, see if that helps with the odd numbers any.

It's quite a lot more than just building and maintaining the servers. You would also be maintaining every aspect of the network, most likely, as that is what a network administrator's job is.

Then, when something goes down, and almost at the very instant it goes down, every pair of eyeballs in the company is watching you and timing how long it takes you to get the problem resolved.

IT admins of today must be as stressed from their jobs as surgeons or cops.

My dad is IT/software engi. for the company texas instruments, the one who make those calculators, hes on call 24/7. But im talking about mainly hardware, he says that are people that there whole job is just to keep their servers running, and there are different people for network and such, ad you can imagine that a 10x the size company such as google has got to have a serious team of people dedicated to maintaining their servers, networks, software and such.

I guess in a company that large you would need dedicated teams, but in order to get the degree, you need to know how to do it all.
