Big Bang Theorists - Page 84

Well, an update for you guys, I have it folding right now @ 4.9 with 1.44v but the board is likely bad, and newegg is sending me a new set. It will be here tommarro. As for today, I am puking sick and will likely be wandering the forum and or resting.

In other news, even with me down a day we pulled into 2nd place! Good Job!

-edit- Doc says I have Mono... Lame!

Very lame indeed. Hope you get well soon.

Also, any way you can get the vcore down a bit? That seems to be a bit on the high side.

Well after 5 hours of messing with it yesterday, I would have to say thats what that chip needs to be stable at that multiplier. Hopefully the new one will produce some better results, it will be here tomarro so we will see.

Last I checked it was at 4.9ghz and 43k or so ppd. Still though that board was flakey from the begining so we will see what a fresh start will bring.

That number's still low. I think the guy in that other thread was getting 50k at the same clock.

Yea but thats with a old install, and a flakey board. Im sure I can get that with a fresh install and a good board, but we will see.

Ah, yes, fresh install indeed. It is what you require.

Lutro0, you got mono dude! That sucks!

Ever since you decided to put your gear up for sale, I've been toying with the idea of picking my own i7 setup. Prices are all over the place right now. I saw a 950 at 260.00, a 930 at 350.00, all over the place.

I also am kinda scared away from SB. All this talk about DRM and killswitches gets my conspiracy theory wheels turning. I like my components pure.

DRM doesn't matter if you don't do anything illegal.

Also, if you do get an i7 whatever, you can't sell your X6, cause I say so.

The DRM is only for Intels online movie service, and if you never use that, it wont affect you
