Darn, they about to change it? I better get that test done this year than. Trying to get A+, Sec+, and Net+ before I go to college. Then work on getting a Windows Server cert and maybe a Linux cert of some kind. Since being in Guard gives me access to a awesome electronic library with all the cert books and a training site for those certs.
Heck, they even got the stuff for ethical hacker cert too.
Just right now this starting block kind of a joke if peeps have computer experience in their background. Plus, you see how the average person reacts to computer terms and OS systems they never heard of. Seriously, majority never heard of UNIX...even some of them who do know a bit about computers.
Heck, I feel old when I try to explain what Windows 3.1 was like or what MS-DOS is. My Dad made sure at a very young age I knew how to work a computer even if I was like only 4 or 5 years old (Was a one of those kids who wanted to ask butt ton of questions, read or look at books, and if I could take it apart without getting in trouble I would)Edited by Ithanul - 8/3/15 at 2:25pm
