Yeah, I know but then I have to get a pump, res, and barbs to go with the block. I was trying to nab a d5/res combo on here, but did not luck out on first dibs it seems. I still have enough acrylic tubes so would only need barbs.

Plus I think I need a certain block for my 980 since it is a ASUS STRIX model.

Its the folder so I don't care about the looks. The main rig is for that.

I think they look good! I use the blue ones with blue and green LED fans in the case. I also use a red LED that I plug into the HDD LED plug on the mobo and tuck it in to the Kraken for a really neat look. Gives it some class! tongue.gif

Yeah, I'm not big about my folder being glowly. Leave that to the main rig.

May get that Kraken G10 and AIO for the 960. That way I can at least safely allow both the 960 and 980 to fold without worrying to much about them sucking heat off each other. Plus, going to get a slightly bigger case for the folder, time for this NZXT Apollo case to retire. My first case so must say it has lasted seven years.

I like glowly. tongue.gif

And a good case with good air flow is important. I tried for so long to make the "cheapos" work. But I did get some pretty good deals on all three of my really good cases. Still making do with two, but that will change.

Yeah, my first build was not very thought out. Basically bought cheap stuff and smack it together. Don't even get me started on the low end Radeon I bought. tongue.gif I was still learning those seven years ago about building. Was not until I did my 2nd build RadioActive that I researched a bit more and took my first stab at OCing and water cooling.

If I remember right I did the Chimp Challenge on a GTX590 Classified on that rig. That rig actually went through a 580 -> 590 -> 680 4GB -> OG Titan -> 2x OG Titan.
Only card out of that bunch I bought new was the 580.

Black Dragon on the other hand has been through a ride on different parts. Still miss that BFG GTX275, that was a darn solid card.
Still got a 9800+ sitting around too.

I didn't know squat about a computer, or overclocking, or FAH, or anything else until 2012. I took an old computer that got hit by lightning and succeeded in getting it going and I was hooked! Then I discovered OCN and Folding. When I joined TC I was running a AMD 960 BE OC'd to 4ghz. Then I upgraded to a Q-9550 and got it to 4.2 stable. Then GPU's took over and I got an Asus 560 TOP and dominated Wildcard for a while. At the time I couldn't even hardly afford to pay attention, so all my cases were old Dell's and such. Never had a truly decent case until just recently. Same with power supplies. I've blown up several! Just lucky I've never ruined my hardware. I am now a FIRM believer in a good PSU.

That the one thing I did not cheap out of. Still have my first PSU too. Corsair TX750, thing has been a tank (its now the PSU for testing fans, pumps, etc.). thumb.gif Have that one and the ThermalTake BlackWidow 850W (was on sale) plus Corsair AX1200.

Remember people giving me flak for buying that AX1200 when I still only had a 680, but I was looking for long term use. These Titans can draw a bunch of Watts when they get going.

The 1200 is definitely overkill. I have a EVGA 750 and several Corsair 550's. I think I have a Rosewill 650 sparkin' my TC rig. I used to get the cheapos that were supposedly rated at the correct wattage, but they actually weren't. I had one blow up in the middle of the night while I was asleep. Talk about a rude awakening! It was on my TC rig and I had just got a decent PSU but hadn't had time to install it. Did a quick change-out at 2:00 AM and was back up and running! I've also had to re-install Windows due to too many overclock fails. I did that with my Q-9550 and was back up and running in 35 minutes. OC failures on that thing were kinda' hair raising. That's also when I became hooked on SSD's. ONLY way to go.
