if i over clock my video card, will it mess with my systems performance? like make it unstable?

If you overclock your Video card to much you will just get screen corruptions and your Display will mess up. You need to find the most stable oc you can before you go ahead and use that oc for everyday use. use a program called ''ATI TOOL'' to find your highest core and memory speeds and then scan for artifacts if you dont get ny then you have a stable Overclock. Watch for your Temps though you dont want that card or any card to get to hot.
