Then I simply switched it over to sata3g and whalllaa it frigging worked then I had to call MS to reactivate the OS. But at least it works. I have list snips of things going on. I still want to figure out my sata6g issues but I am not about to go to that nightmare before I do. Rather live with it the way it is.
My tech level is really a hard knock system builder for years and new to SSD.

I have also plugged my raid 0 HDDs back up and cant find them in windows.
I have everything set to achi except sata6g disabled at moment.
You need to update your Inel contoller drive to the latest version I think it is ver 9.

I was going to get the P6X58D-E as it has been reviewed very well, and well I'd never really given overclocking much thought - but now I am.

On the day that I went shopping the P6X58D-E wasn't available, but the Formula was. I took it, but when unpacking all the other components getting ready to build I kept wondering if I shouldn't have gone "all the way" and got the Extreme now that I've got an "overclocking" type motherboard.

After reading comments so far, I'm glad that I got the Formula. It would appear that the layout of the PCI/e slots is what makes it attractive. It doesn't seem to be a slouch when it comes to performance or customisation either - I still have that journey ahead.

Maybe someone can help.............. I am still running at stock settings until I can decide on a CPU cooler. I'm leaning towards the Corsair H70 (easy install) or Thermalright Silver Arrow (if it will fit). I am concerned about noise levels. Any suggestions?

Hey! Bios 0505 is out now... who is gonna test it out first?

My setup is rock solid, good performance. No need to update unless someone tells me they get better SATA III performance.

I guess I will be the first! Thanks for the heads up! +

I was having bad issues (Slow BIOS Booting/Win7 loading freezes) so I updated to v0505 after I seen this. I didn't notice anything different with a quick BIOS glance as I changed just a few settings. Saved changes and got into windows quick and smooth this time.

I'm not positive it fixed my issue yet but I won't have the time for a few days to really play with OCing. I'm just hoping the original BIOS load had a problem, for now I'm very happy.
