huh

the beeps is if you have a speaker

DOES IT POST AFTER GOING THROUGH ALL 4 OF THE QLEDS?

Has a speaker...no beeps. No POST. No luck except getting a new board which makes me smile. NBD...had that board for two years...time to move on. These aren't the droids you're looking for...

Will HyperX CL8 1600 6gb kit run on this board? It is not on the qvl but the 2000mhz hyperx kit is.

Well I finally had a chance to complete my CPU OCing project. I wasn't able to set x22 multi. So I chose different settings that run well for my room temperature.

Mushkin definitely helped me out to reach my CPU Freq goal.

Currently at

4Ghz@1.25v - no HT, no TB
bClk@200
CPU Multi@20
Dram 2:8 ratio 6-8-6-24 1N DDR31600
Uncore@ 3608

I just don't know which setting to set my QPI Link to. It is currently auto.

Also, does the ROG logo on the northbridge suppose to light up?

No. And a good thing too, that north bridge heat sink gets very very hot.

Would speedfan be the best to read the NB temps?

Lads, I just purchased one to replace my UD3R. The shipping company will deliver today or tomorrow and will set it up. Like an idiot, I bought this and did not see that there is no IDE port on the board. My Optical unit is IDE so , you guessed it, I can't use it.

Can this board boot from USB? I created a W7 USB boot drive and I checked it on my UD3R and it works. Will the RIIIF be able to boot from USB? This is a temporary measure until I get a SATA Optical Unit.
