eVGA GeForce 7800 GS, question? - Page 2

Some game like it, but if 1256MB is working for you, then don't mess with a good thing. The 6600 will bring you to tears of joy after that 9200.

I sure hope so. Alright, so i've basically narrowed it down to two different 6600GT's ..

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130220

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...8781&CatId=880

There is quite a steep price change between the above cards, and i'm not exactly sure what the difference is. Help in the decision is greatly appreciated, and I don't think the cost difference is a large factor, I just want to know where it's coming from.

Yeah, that price difference is the Canadian dollar being weaker and TigerDirect being more expensive then Newegg.

And I've never had a problem w/ eVGA. It's pretty good.

The only problem I have had with eVGA has been their 7800GS CO. Their customer service rocks though, they took it back even though I had changed the thermal compound to AS5. They also have step-up and a lifetime warranty, can't go wrong with eVGA.

eVGA is by far the best manufacturer of videocards!

Thanks for all the positive replies. When I posted both video cards above, I accidentally linked the wrong ones.

I ment to link ..

the Leadtek 6600 GT
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...?EdpNo=1188781

and the

eVGA 6600 GT
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...2887&CatId=880

And much thanks, I think i'm going to go order the eVGA right now.
