Ronin de Beatrice sent me his Sugo to mod. First step is to see what the heck he sent me. I spread out the contents on the bench to have a look.


More or less a WTPh?BBQ moment on first sight.


I see we have something in common: our love of the blue tape....yes.


I PMed Ronin to make sure the finish was anodizing...it looked kind of odd.

ENHANCE!


It appears our perp wants us to fill in the blanks


Faraday Cage Effect. Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.


Just for my own curiousity I tried some liquid TriSodium Phosphate and a scrubby to see how well that finish was gripping the aluminum.


It started to lighten the anodizing with little pressure on the scrubby.


Maybe ten minutes of scrubbing and I decided to strip the rest with Oven Cleaner.


I'm gonna tell you something about wind man. Wind and spray oven cleaner do not make for a relaxing time. I was jumping around like a jitter bug. My face and arms were burning...it was a rite of passage. I felt like Billy Jack and the rattlesnakes.


Some places it stuck some places it didn't. Like Billy Jack I powered through.


Apply the caustic foam.

Scrub.

Profit.

Been going to beat hell since 7am. Tune in next time when CyberDruid tries to figure out what the hell he's doing.
