Possible layout for the 5/8" wide acrylic trim ring and new vent.
Powdercoated steel hex mesh formed into a filter carrier.
Plan is to mount it with magnets to the front of the rad.
Made a filter element using coarse blue "wool" 1/2" thick and covering it with aluminum screen.
Inserted the element into the hex mesh carrier and touched it up with Satin Black.
Mounted the Magicool radiator using 4-40 screws. M3 would not fit. Weird.
I like the idea of keeping the basic Sugo shape of the side vent, and I think the top acrylic trim ring for the fan hole should follow the shape of the aluminum piece in front of it.
Still not sold on the way the front looks. It needs something to make it look finished.
If Ronin likes the side panel layout I'm good to go on that. I'm going to have to keep fiddling with the front though.
The top part of the radiator needs some sort of cover. I have some pieces of aluminum sheet. I will see if I can make some sort of cover that ties into the rest of the case.
The way it is now you are looking at the plastic frame, rad top, case guts. Seems like it needs to be finished off.

effin' magnets, how do they work?
I'm cool with the enlarged side panel. It keeps with the ultimate design of the original. I don't know if your current markup will allow a little exposure to the top edge of the PSU though.

This is what I came up with so far. I don't happen to have a spare optical bay cover laying around to modify, and TBH (have to double check, but) it's not going to work out that way...because the funky bay thing does not have a nicely removable front panel. But I will check it out thoroughly.
See not being a firgging mind reader makes it a little hard to know exactly what my client wants...until he tells. And not having played with a Sug I have no idea about what's been changed, removed, whatever.
