Nice. Low Response Time.DVI AND D-Sub. Good Reputable Company. I think its good for gaming right??? I heard you need HDCP or something for it to work with Vista or take advantage of it my new videocard is a 7900gt so its ready for vista as i read on nvidia.com

It is kinda funny but all those monitors that list themselves as having a 2ms response time have the same response time as a 8ms monitor they are just using different ways to measure it. Basically one company started it by being like if we measure the response time like this we can claim it is 2ms and not technically be lying. All the other companies were forced to follow suit or else all their monitors would look slow and crappy. Just something to think about when considering your purchase.

Make sure you use the DVI connection though.

They aren't lieing about the 2ms response times they are just refering to grey to grey response times instead of black to white (I may have that mixed up but its something to that effect).

Yea if you read the review on tomshardware (they really go in depth with their reviews if they say somthing is good it is good) they say that it is the fastest monitor they ever worked with and the slowest the speeds get to is 10ms which is super fast. A monitor that is rated at 8ms doesnt do 8ms all the time that is basically the best it can do but not its average if you understand what iam sayin. I just ordered it this morning from zipzoomfly with free shipping and a better warrenty then newegg because newegg you can only send back a lcd with 8 or more dead pixles and if i spend 300+ on a monitor and it has dead pixels iam going to want a new one.

The response time is great and everything, but there's just one little drawback. It's an overdrive monitor. Overdrive technology is basically refreshing quickly, but it is doing so at the sacrafice of quality. If you looked at the rgb value, and your target is from 0,0,0 to 200,200,200, then it will look more like this: frame 1: 0,0,0 (black). Frame 2:240,240,240 (kinda bright white) Frame 3:200,200,200(dunno, random target). If you watch a movie on it, the color will look like it's off by a little. Imho, it would be better to find a 6 ms non overdrive monitor (you can tell it's not overdrive by the part that says black to white to black. Overdrive monitors will say "grey to grey". I did research on this a while ago when I bought my comp and started looking for a monitor. I saw that one, and did research on it. I found this info at a few different websites, but I can't remember the url's to them. Maybe they've improved it since then, but that's what I know about the monitor. Also, I've heard good things about the samsung 940b. You might wanna take a look. Hope this helped!
