sadly my motherboard only allows 2 banks of ddr400....anyways I've already got a 512mb stick of ram installed and was planning on buying another stick.... after looking around a bit, i found this....is it a nice deal?? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...0&Sku=ULT31664

Yea that is a pretty good deal considering getting another stick of 512 would be around $40. Also, it leaves you room to upgrade to 2 gigs. Go for it.

Its a good Deal but you may wish to get a little better if you are Ocing as such or wish to get that little extra performance. If you are just an average User though then its not going to be bad RAM.

I'm happy with my OC since my crappy mobo can't support more than a 2.25GHz cpu (maybe more... thats just what the manual says) and I'm basically buying more ram for gaming/multi tasking reasons (512mb just isn't enough)
