Looking forward to some pics soon. Can't wait to see the finished product, sure it will be sweet dude.

You are amazing. I wish I could find a 360mm Radiator Box with Blowholes like yours! I am so jealous; if I placed three SilenX 14dBA - 72CFM Fans down there and cooled my (soon-to-be) Intel Q6600 CPU I'd be running godly overclocks on that thing. Does anybody know where I can get a Radiator Box that looks somewhat like his, then, all I need to do is cut two 1/2" holes for cables.

Sorry for stealing your idea, but it's amazing - too bad I don't have that skill.

Bondo is not hard like u guys think. You just have to know how to mix enough hardener with it. Than apply on the surface, wait till it dries and start sanding it down. Than you will have to apply another coat because you cant get it perfect at the first try. Wait till it dries again. Sand it down. If you are still not satisfied apply the 3rd coat and sand it down. Use up to 120 grit for these steps. When you are satisfied than apply putty for really small holes.
After you covered everything; now you can start with 120 grit sandpaper, give the shape u want. After that use 220grit, 320 grit, 400 grit, 600grit. 800grit, 1000 grit (1500 if u can find ) That's all

I will try to post some pics tonigt kopi. Thanks for ur interest
I know you CAN do it that way, but a much more intuitive approach (the one I use) is to make the bondo as perfect as you can on the first layer. It really saves you time in finishing. I've done a few custom fiberglass enclosures for speakers and subs, as well as some autobody work. After my first time when I just slopped on bondo and had to sand like mad, I learned my lesson. Your's still turned out fantastic, but next time if you're careful and neat right from the start, you can save yourself a ton of work.

Hmmm I don't think they produce radiator boxes (i know there are for phase systems) Why don't you try building your own. If you have tools and a place to work, you should give it a try. You have nothing to lose other than couple bucks. Thanks for the rep

LoL if you were into body work then you must know this job better.
It's almost impossible for an amateur to get it right in the first coat
Sanding is not that much of work, i use rough 80 grit sandpaper to get rid of the excess part.
I think u should give us more tips about bondoing
Thnaks for the rep

You aren't serious, are you? The 14dBa fans are a scam.
They aren't 72CFM, but they might be 14dBa.

http://www.tech-gear.org/reviews/fan...fans/index.htm

I have read ratings from 54CFM to 72CFM. Even at 54CFM 14dba is pretty good.

EDIT:

http://www.silenx.com/productcart/pc...3&idproduct=76

Their own site says 58CFM, so not quite 72.

Awesome stuff. Bad times befall us all. But without those bad times, the good times wouldn't be all that enjoyable.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Thank you ira-k. Yea, i wish i had a workshoP, that would be great.

Anyways, i thought i should make a costum memory cooler. I made a plan in my head and drew it on the paper.

It's almost done, i just need to hook up the fans... I'll post some pics later.
