Hi guys, I have a ATI Radeon X850Pro with a flashed BIOS to X850XT 520/540 speeds 16 pipelines, according ATI Tool, no problems at all (was scanning for artifacts for 2 hours). But in some games like Godfather of Battlefield 2,some buildings or parts of the cars are blinking I just want to know it’s a wrong driver settings of I did something to my card.
Any help will be much appreciated!

Hey and Welcome to overclock.net. Well before you flashed that card did you make sure it could handle the Bumped up speeds. Also try and use the Newest drivers as there may be fixes for the problem you describe. Get a program called ''Driver cleaner pro'' you need to use this program after you uninstall your current drivers to clean out any leftovers left by the old drivers. The install the latest driver namley the Official ATI ones and see where that gets you first.

Thats what we call white snow, basically it's artifacting, ati tool isnt the best for artifact testing.

Lower your clocks.

I don't think it would be the clock speeds, 20mhz core increase and 40mhz memory increase can be handled with ease.

Its most likely a bad pipe that you enabled, but its still worth downclocking to stock speeds and trying different drivers with the driver cleaner routine to make sure.

Thanks a lot for your help! I tried to flash back my original bios back ,but it didn’t help I’ve got my 12 pipelines back-problem steel there and only when I play The Godfather so I decided to not play this game anymore lol,and will wait for new ATI drivers 6.4.Finaly I reflashed my bios back to 16 pipelines and 520/540 speeds because I had problem only with one game, everything else running ok,its no white snow any more only some buildings blinking that all.
