Quality of Wintec flash memory(SDHC)?

Thread Starter
I saw some good deal on a Wintec brand Class 10 SDHC, but I never bought any Wintec products before so I'm just wondering about the quality of their product and accuracy of the speed rating. Any input?

Never heard of them. After some bad experiences with Transcend cards, I stick with the major brands like SanDisk or Lexar.

I would stick with SanDisk, ADATA, or Kingston. I saw that class 10 card as well, I might bet their class 10 = one of the aforementioned class 6.

I like transcend cards for using as SSDs in some PCs (my router, a Pentium 1 netbook, and whatever). Their 300x (black) CF cards use dual channel SLC flash, which gives them insane IOPS and quite a long lifespan.

But in my camera I stick to Sandisk, because their cards are some of the most reliable (compared to other MLC ones).

Yes, because you can't recover corrupted images:

(an actual corrupted file from a Transcend CF card I used to have)

went to Fry's today and it was a wast of time, couldn't find the card and no one helps.... not going to the Fry's in SW Houston again

The Sandisk cards are great but a little on the expensive side, so I was thinking about getting a Class 6 or Class 10 PNY card, and most PNY cards seem to have good reviews on Newegg. What do you guys think?
