no I'm not satisfied . I can't play fear with visual effect at max with >40 fps all the time. And I get poor fps in oblivion (40 average outside).

I'm going to disable speeed spectrum and try ocing that rig higher. I'll keep u posted about how it's going if your interested.

+1 rep to all of u.

FEAR maxed out at 40FPS isnt actually all that bad as FEAR isnt the easiest Game to run. Updating your Drivers can dramtically help your scores also.

I've got the latest nVidia driver... (84.25 or 81.25 can't remember but it's like 2 week old) and there's no newer driver for my mobo.

What other drivers could I get? Cause I must admit I haven't update anything else for a while...

BTW, as I writing this, my FSB is at 225 . I'm going to run 3dMark05 and see if I can go past it.

As you said in your other thread, you appear to of set you Pagefile to 0. Dumb thing to to, even with 2 gigs. Set it to 2000Mb. Then try everything again and let us know how it goes.

Also 40fps average with everything on high outside on Oblivion is VERY GOOD! My 7900GTX will stomp you though

The 84.25 drivers are meant to give better performance with Oblivion, but quite a few people find them to be too unstable. Try the 81.98 Drivers. There the only drivers i've never had trouble with. The 84.21's were unstable for me, although the 84.25 are ok.... for now.

IE. Newest drivers aren't necessarily the 'I win' Button.

On a 200gig HD, it's not like its taking up masses of space to set a 2gig PF. It just means your less likely to get problems.

Well... I put 512 mo... can I have somebody else opinion on that? True, I don't mind to spend 2 gig on the pf but are you sure it won't slow my machine in any way? Will it ALWAYS use the 2 gig of ram b4 using the pf?
