I couldn't believe how good the FPS in HL2 were...

Too bad FEAR doesn't work...I would love to crank that puppy...

You should try to set your AA and AF at Rivatuner maybe you can get it to over ride and have aa 16x and af 16x. And see how much your FPS drops.

You mean for HL2? ya, I could just use coolbits to do it...8xSS...but I don't really want to, cause I don't like setting up a bunch of profiles and such...it's fine how it is anyways.

Sideburns - Is your overclocked 7900 still going strong? I'm building a system soon that will be running at 1900x1200. I am thinking of SLI'd 7900's with the volt mod.

I read another thread that said air cooling might not be sufficient. But I guess your happy with the Zalman cooler?

Yup. Still sittin pretty. The clocks came down a tad, to become 100% artifact free...but still stable as a rock. If you need any help, or have other questions don't be afraid to ask.

And to the other guy...yes, I have ramsinks. They come with the VF900CU.

Anyone have dual evga dual 7900's with the Zalman v900 cooler on them on a DFI ultra lanparty expert mobo? I am wondering if I will have any space issues with the Zalmans.

Also what is the difference between these 2 7900's. Same clocks, same price, different p/n

The heatsink is a different shape. I'd get the newest one...

The 7900GT CO's heat sink does NOT cover the ram, it just covers the core.

Then EVGA decided to come out with the KO which had a copper heatsink that covered the ram.

So if you are worried about space issues, and you dont want to get the zalman vf-900. Get the KO you will get better temps off that stock cooler.
I load only about 59 after 3 hours.
