sata raid 0 problem

I have two WD Caviar SE 40 gig hard drives with 8mb catche 7200rpm. When i run these two drives in raid 0 after a night system hangs and then frezzes then is says operating system not found! what am i doing wrong? have the latest drivers and bios! Need help please

P.S. was very fast while it worked. fresh rebot of windows xp pro took only 8 minutes

Something is corrupting your drives.

How hot are the discs?

make sure when you enable SATA RAID in your BIOS, then when you boot, you should see a screen that says to press a button, create your RAID array and clear all data, then re install win xp, press F6 to install raid drivers from the floppy and there ya go.
