No thats the LAST new AGP card that will be produced by Nvidia. , hopefully get my new PCI-e Conroe rig this winter

So there will be no 7900GS, unless Nvidia decides it wants to change its mind, the only reason they made the 7800GS is to dominate the AGP market and beat out the x850xtpe, and they matched it, i think they are both as good

THe best ATI AGP card is no doubt the X850XT PE. Currently the king of agp is the Geforce 7800 GS. There's many articles proving the 7800GS is better than the X850XT PE especially when overclocked. When both cards are overclocked the 7800GS surpasses the x850xT pe in almost all benchmarks. Another reason to get the 7800GS is because it has Shader Model 3.0 which the X850XT doesn't. Many new games today and the future will use Shadel Model 3. So if you don't want to upgrade to PCI express get a geforce 7800 gs because it's more furture proof than a X850XT PE. I spent weeks deciding either between a X850XT PE and a 7800GS. After researching i went with a BFG 7800GS and i'm happy as ever. Plus, The geforce 7800GS is cheaper than the X850XT. And get the BFG 7800 GS and you get a lifetime warranty and comes Overclocked already. You can't go wrong with that. BFG Geforce 7800GS has nothing but good reviews check it out. Mine is stable, perfect, and overclocked.

For today's games: Get X850XT PE
For today and tommorow's games: Get 7800GS

hope that helps you.
