Looks like summer just keeps getting hotter. i7 is heating up the entire basement, might have to get a window ac to cool just that room. The electric bill just keeps going up and up.

1015 in the morning and I'm sweating balls. This is definitely the hottest Summer in a long time. It's not supposed to be this hot in July up here in the NW.

Gotta get my MoBo block so I can continue to run 24/7. Hopefully the rest arrives soon.

Sorry man, just a little spanish coming out for no real reason, and I'm not that cool either. But thanks for the boost.

Crud, always one step behind. I just put in my new Vertex 2 two nights ago. I've got the ASUS U3S6 card on a PCIE 16x 2.0 (can only use 4x), but price was just too good on the older SSD. So enjoy the heck out of those speeds for both of us klaxian.

EDIT: Speaking of reinstalling, so it seems that you can now use HFM with v7, add in the timing, and it seems like the right time to make the jump. I've still got two questions though and all of you knowledgeable folk haven't seem to be bothered by my ignorance in the past so here we go.
1. Is there a PPD difference between the two versions with no other changes (other than showing bonuses)?
2. Would I loose less PPD by adding in the 5770 now than I would have before (can I do it without hurting the team)?
Thanks yall.
EDIT2:Hmm, false alarm on the HFM. Still not working, though this was written back in march-may so here's to hoping they're close!

I'm not sure. I ran my 5770 on the Team Folding rig but I never paid attention to the PPD since I'm still n00b to Folding.

Wow, exciting night. Finally got the rest of my ram and after a little chinese fire-drill (not in a racial way), now have 6gb ddr3 2000 running at 1914MHz, but it's forcing me into new territory with QPI voltages. Up to 1.41v at the moment and wondering if there's something else I can raise instead. (vdimm is only 1.66-not sure if I'm comfortable with venturing much higher while folding 24/7) I'm afraid that I won't safely be able to get there.

When i was running the v7 client with my 5870 and bigadv, my bigadv TFP went up up 20 min. The v7 was using about 25% CPU. I'm going to try and play around with it again to see if it makes any difference.

Hows everybody else running?

so far my 460 is hanging in there. the fat got me to push a little extra ppd out of my 955.

turns out, whenever there is a package with my name on it ( sending or receiving ) usps loves to make it disappear for awhile. first my water block, now a package that was mailed to ceadder awhile ago is somewhere unknown. >.<

I'm running v7 attempting bigadvs, but so far I've just had a few smps. I've got the slot modifier for bigadv so I guess I'll just give it another day. If I don't get one by then, I'll just go back to v6 until I have time to figure it out, which will be a while since I'll be out of town for a few weeks on a job.

@onions, I've just pieced together a small server with that exact cpu. When I get into it, I'll check with you to see if we can help each other.
