Noob at overclocking

Hi all, im a new member and am very new to overclocking.

Ive got a Gigabyte GeForce 6600GT and wish to overclock it as much as I can. I have sufficient cooling, and many fans in my case but am unsure of how to overclock. Can anybody help me?

Yep. In ATI Tool you just click a button and it slowly ups the clock speed then tests for atrifacts...so you don't have to much at all. But again, I've never used RivaTuner, it could be different. I'm sure you can manually up the speed 2-3 megahertz at then test for atrifacts.

hey bud, surprisingly nvidia has a feature exactly like atitool, its called coolbits, google it, it has a detect optimal frequency button, and from there on, u can slowly push your card, its real easy man, download coolbits
