stock coolin will work fine for a little wile..but the X2 put out a lot of heat..and i mean i can heat my room with my computer...so i would put a better coolin unit on the list of first 2 come upgrades...other wise very nice system...good luck

I would recommend a different case its not that that one isisnt good just its $180..kinda pricy when your on a budget perfonally i wouldnt spend that much on a case
i would say a TT tsunami imo looks just as good if not better
that gives you some extra money to spend or save

ok i ordered everything except the mobo and the vid. card. i was gonna ask if i should buy an ATi card instead (priced at $200 or lower) that is equal to the 7600 or better. I was just wondering because ive had nvidia all my life, i was thinking about tryin out an ATi card.

Go for the X850xt...dunno prices but it is a very good card...I seem to remember having an argument with some people about which is better bout X850Xt and 7800GT...X850XT Won

pretty amazing, how can that card be 179 bucks and still be freakin sweet?! thats crazy! all the reviews said it outperformed the 7600GT. now i need an ATi Mobo dont i?
i mean, to optimize my experience.

edit: A lot of the reviews say its really loud and that u have to have extremely good air flow in ur case and a good cooling system if u want to run this card on high end programs ie: BF2.
hmm?

PCI-E is a standard, so you don't need specific 'ATI' hardware to have the best performance. Only if you plan to run two in a Crossfire setting (one of the a 'Crossfire Edition' card), then you need hardward that complies with ATIs Crossfire Specifications. Same with SLI: only possible with SLI certified stuff. (Although one single nVidia card will work in any PCI-E board)

So, just get any good MoBo; any of the ones discussed in this threat will work fine.

The stock fan tends to be loud yes, and these cards do run hot. Get aftermarket cooling, like the one I have on my X850Pro (AGP, pipelines unlocked and flashed to X850XT PE):
ZALMAN VF700-CU 2 Ball VGA COOLER - Retail $29.99 + $5.99 shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118117

This thing made my temps drop like 20C and is very quiet.

It's not too hard... Just take your time, like with any kind of hardware. Check out Zalman's website
http://www.zalman.co.kr/

Look up the cooler. There is a video clip on the website that shows you the installation process. Also, the manual is on there.

Also, your case has 4 fans (if you got the one you originally wanted), so airflow should be fine.

Don't forget to get some Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound. That one is better than any other. You just apply a SMALL amount of it on top of the GPU before installing the heatsink and fan. You can also use it if you install a different heatsink on the CPU.
