Slightly damaged FX-57...fixable??? - Page 5

first off.. get some epoxy glue to reassemble the CPU. then put the CPU in as per hornygoat's instructions. for extra security, weld it onto the socket and motherboard using a blowtorch.

check if the system boots, if not, the northbridge may need adjustment. This is done using a sledgehammer. with this you hit the heatsink. If it breaks.. well **** that.

If the system stll dosn't boot, then get hold of a bus, or any other kind of large vehicle (steamrollers work best) and run it over the motherboard.

In case the computer stil does not work, then all hope is not lost ( doubt it would work in a computer though) now, you can use it for everything, hang it on a wall, light it on fire, or throw it around. the only limit is your imagination... good luck
