Sup everyone...

I'm gonna start off with my rig setup

CPU:
3000+Venice Core skt 939

Mobo:
Asus A8N-SLI motherboard

RAM:
PC3200 2x 512 Patriot TCCD 2-2-2-5 stock timings

Video Card:
Chaintech 6600GT

Hard Drive:
200GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive

Im fairly new to OCing, if anyone has my rig and has been successful with a 800+ MHZ oc stable, please state your bios settings, dividers, etc
I mainly need someone to give me directions or a setup to start with and work from there.
Any help is appreciated.

I don't have your rig But I do have a 3000+ on A DFI Lanparty Sli-DR with stock voltage all I did was change the ram divider to (1/2)Dram:fsb and than bump the HHt to 300 and got 2.7ghz

300 x 9 = 2.7ghz

read the tuturials at the top of these forums

This might be a noob question, but can someone list the dividers out, because my mobo reads it as

200
266
333
400
and so on...

can someone state what exactly each one is

Use a 333 divider, drop your multi to 4x, your safe with 1.58vcore, but start up with stock volts, and use more when you need it. keep your load temps below 55c full load. raise your fsb untell it wont boot then add vcore. hope this helps some.

ok, so I read the tutorial on finding on max fsb on mobo/ram/cpu
after setting the vdim to 2.85v, cpu to 1.550 ( max ) voltage, and messing around with the ram, the best I could do is

285 x 9 = 2565MHZ w/ 3-3-3-5-1T timings...

My rig:

Asus A8N-SLI MOBO
TCCD Patriot RAM 2-2-2-5@200MHZ
3000+Venice 1.8GHZ

Are Asus' known to go out at 285FSB max...?
This seems kind of low considering what I've seen other people push the
3000+

If anyone has any tips, or any help to help me achieve 2.6GHZ, help me out

Thx

Are you RAM stable @ 3-3-3-5-1T ?
Have you upped the chipset voltage yet to aid in the MBs stability?

BTW... seen reviews of slightly over 300MHz ...although you might want to check your PS stability.
