The DFI Expert is one very serious OCer and is very demanding but very good.
Here is a link to a new MSI that may also interest you if you desire a bit less of a demanding MB!

DFI borad might be more suitable to expert OC'er?

the options in DFI's bios might scare away the new OC'er

if money is not a matter, just grab the most expensive one

DFI has the best bios for overclocking. One of the few that will let you push your components to their breaking point. Where else could you take your memory to 4.0 volts? With these advantages comes a more complicated bios that may intimidate the timid and those with short attention spans. You know who you are!

If you want a great board that will be a little more overclocking friendly look to an ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe or MSI K8N Diamond Plus / MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum.

[SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE] You want to get the DFI Expert. It is better then the others.[/SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE]

Shhh, dfi has its moments. But its seriously for extreme enthusiast.

You will never need vdimm of 3v or more unless you have a nice big fan sitting above your ram and you are trying to do a 1:1 at 300htt with some expensive bh5.

And you will never need a vcore above 1.65 unless you are willing to throw down 50$ on a big typhoon + 20$ on an exhaust fan + 10$ on an intake fan. Or have water cooling.

Mobo's like the expert are for 'experts', people that really want to sit there tweaking all day to try to squeeze another 20mhz out of their processor. If you aren't going to spend oodles on every other component of your comp you dont need a mobo like that.

There are pleanty of cheaper boards with equal stability, easier to understand bios options, and almost if not equal overclocking ability.

Asrock sata2 uli
Biostar 6100 mAtx
Asus premium or deluxe
Msi has the neo, one of em is good
Even the cheaper lan partys are fine

Dont let people narrow your options, do your own homework.
