6600GT Pencil MOD :)

Thread Starter
Hey guys, this is my first post here. I am looking to overclock my 6600GT further. I have used NHIBITOR to mod the BIOS and so on and now I have a stable OC of 560/1190 DDR. I would love to go higher but get artefacts. I am sure the Voltage is at fault. Now, I want to do a Vmod using a pencil to test things out prior to using a resistor to make it permanent. How exactly would I go about with the pencil mod. Do I apply the pencil lead on top of the resistor or around it?

: that's what I want to do BUT using a PENCIL.

EDIT:

If it's PCI-e, here ya go.

I HAVE A PCI-EXPRESS 6600GT

I already read that but I do not know how to apply the lead? Should it be over the number on the resistor and to the sides? Or shoudl it be around the resistor and to the sides?

P.S.: I have added my rig info into the sig

You shade on top of the resistor...going from one end to the other.
