Well I jusat bought my uber system, every 3 years, I go all out with the bes tstuff I cAn find for a new PC.
This time around I was blown away, been outa the entire scene for 3 years whil I raced Yamaha R1's. NOw its bakc to gaming and CG'n..Hooray!

-AMD FX 60
-Asus A8N32 SLIL deluxe.
-Geforce 7900 GTX 512MB
-2 1 gig sticks of OCZ
-Asus Vento tower
-Thermaltake cooling fan (typhoon)
-Seagate 200 gig SATA drive. (remember I have been outa this for a while so correct me on anything!)

So far I have it all wired up correctly, I think...cant get the HDD to get recognizedx in the BIOS though..

On the MOBO theres 4 sata plugs, 1-4 then a seperate one called a sata Raid 2. What one do I use? the RAID_2? or the SLI 1-4 SATA southbridge ports?

any help would be super cool!

Mahalo.

The raid 2 plug is for when you want 2 harddrive to work together in tandem so you do not want your single harddrive hooked up to that. Hope you can get it working soon that is one hell of a awesome rig.

let me reiderate........(sorry guys I come from the old school where it was all IDE! LOL)

I need to figure out how to setup the CD ROM, and the SATA w/HDD. The HDD is plugged into the sata "1" on mobo. The IDE is set to master, on the blue IDE receptacle on tha mobo. And yes, I double checked, the white wires on the IDE are in the "1" pin spot. =P

other then that, all bios configs look good (all I did was turn on the sata(s) and told it to boot HDD, then cd rom, A last.

yelp....help ScooBs!
