Furnace fan + computer = ?

Thread Starter
So I have had this house heating system fan for a large house lying around and I have been considering hooking it up to my computer, but I really am not sure where to start. This thing though pushes so much air enough to get a room seeming colder then the out side in under 15 seconds and by room I mean 2 car garage. Pictures below.

This thing pushes enough air to move it and another 10 pounds across a room if its on wheels (I was really bord one night) .

Any Ideas?

You'd probably rip a capacitor off of something... That's pretty cool though. Imagine if you had like two of those things...

It's gunna be hella loud, I sugest you make a duct for it, place the fan in another room, ad attack the duct to the front of your case.

well it kinda defeats water cooling. blows the water all over. haha.
but yeah use a duct and even then it will be loud cause the duct traps the sound. acts like the two cups and a string phone.

i agree throw things into it.. that would be a riot start off with simple things like strawberrys and work your way up to a watermellon and then harder stuff like nickles and nails you know just to make sure its durable and will last you a long long time

I have a better idea for what you could use this big ass fan for:
Build a custom WC setup, and attach this fan to the heatercore!
I think that would be great, overkill but it would probabally give you slightly higher than ambient temps.

I was thinking of something similar, except taking the smaller combustion blower off a furnace and using that. Unfortanately, combustion blowers tend to give off a high-pitched whine.
