Where is my bottleneck?

Hey fellas. Its time for me to upgrade, but Im not sure where I should allocate my cash. I have ~$500 to spend.. for which area of my computer would that be best spent?

ummm a nice dual channel ddr kit such as the gskill HZ. And what are all the other system specs? Please fill out your specs under user cp....

I'd upgrade on th ram. 133 mhz is real slow. Also, go to usercp on the top of the page and fill in your system specs. Welcome to overclock.net!

Pbasil he has a socket 754 they cannot utilize dual channel so he really doesn't need that. The money would probably be best spent on another 512 of ram and a new video card depending on what you have already.

Get 1gb of ram and get a harddrive with aleast an 8mb cache and a video card with GDDR 3 memory on it

i would spend some money on a decent fan and mabye you could try overclocking if you were up to it and socket 754? upgrade to 939 and you could get a cpu like the one you have for around $200

By the looks of things I will be able to double my upgrade budget

Im really liking the AMD 64 X2 4400+. One thing Im concerned about is that I have to spend ~$200 for a new motherboard to support it, plus I need to replace my crappy powersupply and RAM. That leaves nothing for a new gpu I would imagine.

What do you guys think?
