Xbox 360 S 250GB vs Xbox 360 S 4GB:Whats the differences?

Ok, so I NEED me some Xbox Live so I can start playing with friends again and I don't currently have an Xbox so..I have to make a decision on which Xbox Slim to get. But first I need to know if there are any differences between the 250GB Slim and the 4GB Slim (They obviously have different Hard Drive capacities, but I want to make sure the 4GB Slim doesn't have cheaper components) Usually I would be 100% against the 4GB Edition, but I could potently get an Xbox 360 sooner if I went with the 4GB edition since it saves $100. I could always buy a 250GB HDD for cheaper off Ebay later and use a 16GB flash drive until then.

Some people have told me the 4GB is matte while the 250GB is glossy, but i'm not sure if this is true.

just a overpiced Harddrive, buy the 4GB slim and do the HDD hack to use any laptop hardrive. pick up a 250gig for 40 bucks on newegg. and the 4gb slim has a awesome matte finish, the 250gb version has the stupid finger smudge gloss.

So basically its a decision between Matte and Glossy for me? I think i'd rather have Matte since their is no smudging. I am a perfectionist and the smudges would be taunting me..

I've decided 4GB so long as there is no physical hardware changes (Except for the 4GB of Memory if thats int.)

No hardware differences that I'm aware of. I picked up the 4GB some time ago and I'm really happy with it, though you'll be unable to play co-op in Halo: Reach without a HDD.

As mentioned though, you can buy a 250GB WD off of Newegg and flash it to be used in the 360, saving yourself a ton of money over Microsoft's HDDs. I myself am using my original Xbox 360's 20GB HDD.

My friend has like 4 different headsets and i'm sure he'd be willing to supply me with one as I won't pay $20 for one of those cruddy microsoft ones.

Would I be able to play CO-OP w/ a USB thumbstick?

I believe so, but if you're going to buy a usb stick, why not shell out a lil more for a 250gb western digital, and flash the firmware like the guy said. I made a mistake thinking 16gb would be fine.... but bleh... for one thing, the one that I bought, the Xbox said it was too slow in performance. Anyways I bought the 250gb from amazon, and flashed the firmware.
