hi right now i have stock cooling on my cpu needing to lower a few degrees..im not looking for something as big as the (tt typhoon) or (tower 120) in a mid tower i have just something to lower temps im not planning on any overclocking yet what do you all think of this (Gigabyte G-Power Pro GH-PDU21-MF Heatsink)...there is a review of it at frostytech.com anyone had experience with this one

I have used this cooler from zalman and it does a very nice job even if you aren't looking to overclock just yet.

yea i so wana use that fan but but i think im getting the cosair 3500 pro with the big stupid tall leds hehe...not sure yet though i wish they would just make the memory regular i was looking at the gigabyte cooler it only has 4 heat pipes but apparenty has the some good potential but its like 71.9 (dba)noise the medium speed still loks ok

g power is a good HS/Fan. Ive noticed several people use it and it help out their temps alot and it isnt to big either. Make sure you use some as5 and youll be goood to go.

i think im gona go with the xp-90 copper from thermalright my only concern is the weight of it in the high 600 grams without the fan..i think the weight of recommended motherboards are 450 grams im not completely sure... will the backplate on this thing keep it safe and supported? ..my computer gets really dusty about every two weeks i have to haul it outside for a dusting

I thought it weighed only 360 grams? Anyway I have the tower112 and its pretty heavy and i have had no issues with weight so I wouldn't worry about it.

XP-90C is 690g according to SVC.

the regular XP-90 is 360g.

Oh well still even then I don't think it will be to much of an issue the weight it probably weighs about the same as mine does (idk how much it weighs but its heavy) just be careful installing it and wathc how your board changes.
