Best Cooling Case? - Page 2

Joining the Antec P180 crowd...

I made a few little changes that improved temps in my case:
- Removed hard disk bracked in upper chamber (including the black sliders)
- Moved fans around: the thick one from the lower chamber is now my intake fan in the upper chamber (front). The thin one went down; it provides more than enough airflow to keep my hard disks and PSU cool (PSU has its own 120mm fan also). Other thin one in the back for exhaust (none on the top).
- All fans running slowest setting. Case temps around mid-30C (ambient around 25C), CPU idle at 37-38C, load around 48-49C. Very quiet. I get better temps when turning up the fan speed of course.

CPU: heard good things about the Big Typhoon. Personally, happy with my Zalman (running silent at idle, some noise at load, but nothing too bad).

Good luck

They'll have no idea.... anyway, i love my TT Tsunami (dream). Keeps everything pretty cool w/ the two 120's and a 90 i think it is. Then again, Antec makes some really well designed cases.
