Joystick for Battlefield 2

Thread Starter
I'm going to be getting Battlefield 2 soon, can anyone recommend to me any good joysticks they know of that are good to use for flying jets/choppers, that aren't too expensive.

I have a Logitech 3D Pro that you can find for about $30, works great and has a lot of buttons and it's not too loose like some others that I've tested out

How would you go about hooking up the joystick along with the mouse and keyboard?

I have a Saitek ST290 that I use for BF2 and Falcon 4.0 and it hasn't failed me yet, even after putting a 3 inch hole in my wall after my brother got killed.

If you want to hook up a joystick make sure you have it calibrated before going in to battlefield 2 as some joysticks don't like being just plugged in to usb without calibration. in bf2 just change the controls for which ever options you want to use the joystick with and have fun.
