The 640 gig BEVT WD is for my laptop, if there is a better performing drive for less let me know.

As always please stream lined with the bang for buck. Keep it < $3250 (over budget as is so nothing to increase price)

If you decrease price and keep/increase performance +rep

If your gonna pay like $500 for gtx480 at least get one with a aftermarket cooler ANY one with a aftermarket cooler for that matter I would recommend the sparkle calibre but it's sold out and it's three slot, and the motherboard you picked is limited on space, so twinfrozen razer i guess would be your only option.

No microcenter near by? they sell CPU's at a loss 930 = $200 and 950 $230.

Why two ssds? you don't need to put EVERYTHING on them. and you picked the slower of the ssd's, you want the vertex 2.

sabertooth doesn't have great spacing for dual 480s, neither does your case(card hang over). Also the third pci-e slot would be limited x8 or something along those lines not that it really matters.

do you NEED 12 gb of ram? games don't need it.

Well you asked for performance , overclocking is kind of luck of the draw but reference coolers + overclocking + fans on full blast is ear bleed.

for 100 bucks more on the mobo you get the spacing you are gonna want ESPECIALLY with reference cards or the top runs super hot 16x/8x/16x also.

aftermarket cooler cards, I don't know if the second one will fit your case as it hangs over the last slot 3 slots so there would be 1 slot of hang over would possibly hit psu.

whichever one you wanted, 60gb is enough for operating system, you put other stuff elsewhere.

Maybe buy a few of those f3's and raid them would be great for games as they don't require the random reads/writes as much.

I don't know about MSI over EVGa
This has a better cooler.

Also, I'd pick 2 Spinpoint F3's rather than that WD Drive. Oh and btw, the P6X58D-E mobo is better imo.

I'm not gonna get into a brand war, Hell put a cooler on yourself if you want EVGA.

Do however consider my spacing suggestion, as two 480's close together run soooooo hot it's not even funny.

Some benches over there.

Most games don't require a ssd, some benefit honestly you could fit 1-2 games on a 60gb with operating system and still have a bit of room. If you are worried buy the 120gb and use the f3's for everything else.

I will also mention that it's more of pain to overclock with 12gb of ram. Are you doing anything that requires that much ram? I'm talking workstation like use?
