Get rid of Libraries in Windows 7

Thread Starter
If your like me and can't stand this feature then this is a way to get rid of it. The Libraries feature doesn't make any sense. Why would you access multiple files using 1 folder. To me putting 1 folder of files into multiple folders make more sense. This will probably go down as a failed invention for Microsoft like the My Briefcase. It's good for sharing files but if you don't share a lot it's pointless. Here is a way to get this off your side bar and make more room for favorite folders.

Opening Explorer will also take you to your documents by default.

i don't like the libraries view either. i can see where it'd be good, but i don't like the way it says MUSIC LIBRARY in big at the top, and wastes so much space in telling me where everything is, leaving little space for me to actually look for the files i need.

-e- note that doing this will disable libraries in WMP as well...
