How much can OC an AMD4800+

Thread Starter
I plan to build another system with Asus A8N32-SLI and AMD 4800+, how much OC can I get out of this CPU ?
Is anyone here have any feed back to share ?

Probably no more than you got out of your 4400+ or possibly less IMHO being that is a sweet OC you have
BTW... did you submit that to the Offical Database?

so it's really not worth it to buy the 4800+ since the price way more than 4400+ and OC very much same as 4400.
BTW ... how do I submit to official database ... lol

YMMV in regards to OCing

unless you're willing to blow some cash on the chance that you might get a slightly better OC on a CPU that isn't too much better then your current CPU (@ stock), then i don't see a point.

if you had a surplus of cash, a better CPU to get would be an FX since they have an unlocked multiplier.

I'd like to get the FX too, but it's single core don't know it is any better than dual core .. but price so high
I use my PC not for game, for my video editing so I need a fast one and can do multi tasking

agree with duke and one. The 4400+ is prob the best bang for your buck chip out there right now and to tell you the truth i haven't seen many 4800+ overclock very high. Keep that 4400+ and use what moeny you wanted to use for a cpu for a new vid card or save it up for a new system down the line
