Not working. I still have to hold the power button to turn it off and on again.

I forgot a detail, updating the OP.

I just experienced this issue this morning! My machine is in the signature, and like yours everything is stock.

Machine is usually put to sleep through Win7 every night, and I've never before had an issue with bringing it back.

There was a thunderstorm the other night, causing a power cut... so when I tried turning it on today... nothing. I tried the reset button, turning off at the power supply... nothing. Then I came across this thread, and held the power button until it powered down (whilst doing nothing). On the next boot everything worked fine, and Windows resumed. WTH??

I'm thinking this is possibly a power supply issue. I actually did hear a loud pop from my Corsair TX750 the first time I turned it on, but everything seems to work fine and I haven't had any other issues...

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

I have the same issue, many years later. My pc was working fine, I had just unplugged everything and took it to my friends college campus for a week, came home, plugged it all back in, and now I have to power down each time after sleep just so my monitors come back on. Please help!

Have you tried just turning the monitors off, then back on? That's been working for me.
