I'd look at your power supply and overheating first. Those are probably the 2 most common reasons for crashes, restarts, and freezing.

Does the system do this at stock settings? What is your overclock set at? Your voltages? Is your PCI/AGP locked?

With your configuration > 28amps on the +12v rail would be more in line with what would be ideal for your setup, and 400 watts is sufficient for your configuration.

Have you oc'd the memory and clock on that video card? If you have oc'd the chip too much, the computer simply would not boot, and you'd have to reset your cmoss.

If it is the motherboard in your system specs...you have a nForce2 chipset and I believe every board with that chipset will have the AGP/PCI locked.

a locked AGP/PCI means that your AGP and PCI slots are not overclocked when you overclock your FSB. they stay at 66MHz and 33MHz

what speed of memory do you have? That might cause it too, but in general I'd say you have over clocked too much. It may be because your power supply can't put out enough juice, or an unlocked AGP slot, memory running too fast...what ever the cause, you'll need to come down some on the OC.

Happened to me just the other day. I was running at 2.6 GHZ and never had a problem. I got Oblivion and it kept freezing/crashing. I had to cut back my OC to 2.5 GHz and then it ran fine.
